[Video] "We Are Out!" Interviews - Two Japanese Gay Couples 【動画】日本人カップルへのインタビュー動画『WE ARE OUT!』＜コウ＆テンテン編＞ と＜ツヨシ＆サトシ編＞

Came across interview videos about two Japanese gay couples (actually one guy is Chinese).

先日の「どんなエッチしたの？」の動画に続いて、日本のゲイカップルにインタビューしている動画も発見した。

They candidly talk about their relationships, how they met, what they do together, and how in general gay people are perceived in Japan (in their opinions). The both videos have English and Chinese subtitles (captions).

どうやって知り合ったとか、日本のゲイ事情とか、２カップルとも素直で丁寧な人柄で好印象。

What amazes me is that even among Japanese (Asian) gay men, they tend to be attracted to the same type! The first couple, Kou and Tenten are (were) both go-go boys, growing mustache with darker skin, short hair, and in the same outfit.

おもろいなと思ったのが、二つのカップルとも「似た者夫婦（夫夫）」だなぁってこと。コウとテンテンは二人ともゴーゴーボーイやってる（た）し、ヒゲあり、浅黒い肌、短髪などなど、ファッションも同じ感じ。こういうタイプってなんて言うんだっけ？

In contrast, the second couple Tsuyoshi and Satoshi are both with pale skin and hairless and skinny cute type.

一方、 ツヨシとサトシは、二人とも色白で細身、体毛も薄そうだし、華奢な可愛いタイプ。

Are these "twin brothers" like gay couples the main stream among Japanese gay guys? If so, I couldn't complain about white gay Americans who'd go out with only similar types.

こういう「似た者同士カップル」っていうのが日本のゲイの間でも主流なのかね？だとしたら、アメリカでイケメンの白人男の多くが同じような白人男としかつきあわない状況について文句言えないなーって。

I realize that I'm a double minority as being gay first and as being Asian who's attracted to the opposite (non-Asian) type.

そう考えると、僕なんてアジア人ゲイで外人（自分とは正反対）好きのダブルマイノリティーやわー。
